Tribal operations provides a wide variety of technical assistance, on-site and off, intended to assist tribal governments in becoming more self-sufficient and better able to enhance the social and economic condition of their people.

Committed to achieving clean, healthy, safe and sustainable Aleut communities.

Human Services
To promote self-sufficiency and independence of Unangan through education, training and technical assistance, and to respond to and assist in meeting health, safety, child care and well-being needs of each Unangan community member.

Healthcare
The Health Department operates health clinics in a number of the Aleut communities. The clinics are staffed by Community Health Aides, Community Health Practitioners and mid-level certified health care providers.

Cultural Heritage
The Cultural Heritage Department's mission is to provide programs that encourage Aleut culture and language to flourish.

Administration
The Association is governed by a 13-member Board of Directors, each representing one of the 13 constituent communities' tribal organizations. The Board establishes overall policy and direction for A/PIA and has appointed Dimitri Philemonof as President/CEO to administer the day-to-day activities of the Association.
